I was frustrated. Frustrated that all the things I was trying to stop the hair fall, fix the texture, and keep me from literally going bald, weren't making a difference.

Our family began our root-cause, low-tox wellness journey shortly after my son was born. He has had nothing but health issues and hurdles to overcome, and through our experience with him, we've done a lot of re-learning and growth; personally, emotionally, intuitively, and spiritually.

In the spirit of cleaning up our toxic load, I went off the pill in January 2023.

I've never had great hair. I've never been able to grow it past a certain length, it's thin, and I feel ill thinking of the thousands I have spent on extensions!

But what happened after I stopped the pill was nothing I'd ever experienced before. My hair was falling out in handfuls. It was dry. It was breaking off. I was cleaning out my hair brush creating a pile of hair on my counter at least twice a day. There are no words to describe how bad it truly was. I spent thousands of dollars on supplements, vitamins, naturopathic doctors, acupuncture, osteopathy...

You name it, I tried it. But nothing was helping.
